Dear Runners,

Seriously, thank you for being so self sufficient and taking care of your needs.  You rock!

Who knew that a rotund pig butt (thank you Matt) with a butt hole (thank you Betsy) would be so popular for running in the winter in the cold.  Well that's Pigtails Fat Ass for ya.

We had around 20+ Fat Ass runners on course with another 10+ virtual runners on the day, December 12th.   Even with a pandemic these darn runners continue to run on the traditional courses they love.  Pigtails was no exception.  You could tell they were Pigtails runners because they were wearing an assortment of hats, arm warmers, gloves, pants, all with the wonderful cute pig emblem.  Thanks Van and Monte.

Then along comes Matt Hagen and his pig butt with pig hole woodal.  Everyone has to have one so we ran out of the popular items.  If you didn’t get one and want one, let me know.

Well the sun was out and it was still f in cold and the runners did their thang.  Enjoyed the trail and got their half, marathon or 50K on.  Of course Rachel the overachiever had to do extra miles, the “Longest 50K Girl” is her new name.  Van reminisced as the original race director and took pictures and people celebrated the accomplishment on the book face.

Looking forward to another run with these wild and cray cray runners.  Who needs coneheads, am I aging myself?

Check out www.hudsonbeeks.com for other results and future events.

I have my tropical shirt ready for the Rona Tropical Paradise.  It is sure to be a horrible weather day so come run with us.

Be well,

Jill
